Self-Enquiry
At its most fundamental, the practice of Self-Enquiry is one in which the subject attempts to answer the question ‘Who am I’, and in the process of doing so, dissolves the questioner themself; along the way to which, a deep journey of enquiry ensues, which goes beyond thought, identity, belief, and the entire physical manifestation of self
It is a deeply introspective practice of one’s inner and outer worlds, and is best suited to those for whom the ‘path of knowledge and wisdom’ (or Jñāna Yoga) appeals; involving as it does, deep existential exploration, and reaches the borders of psychological function, where spirit is brought into matter
Consequently, it is a life-changing endeavour, rife with profound insight, which can eliminate fear, bring an end to psychological struggle, and reveal one’s ultimate divine truth; after which life in contemporary society can be happily lived, but with an appreciation and understanding which transcends all societal rules and norms
